The strongest technical aspect of my work is the use of the history brush. I made the flower the focus of the whole assignment. I don't know if I used it wrong but the desaturated photo isn't the same colors as the original photo.
The easy thing about this activity was picking the picture. The hardest part was using the history brush. I had only use it on the flower rather than the background.
I demonstrated the object by using the tools I was taught. I desaturated my photo and used the history brush to bring the color back and put the focus on just the flower. If I could change something, I would go back and try to figure out if I did anything wrong and make the colors look similar.
Lacey, Part of the fun of working with Photoshop is the troubleshooting. Regardless of the color change you have clearly demonstrated creating a focal point through desaturation and the use of the history brush. Your color scheme has a christmas or Valentine feel about it. When you have a minute try this again with the same image and see if you can figure how your dilemma.
